Subject: Report of transportation delay
Dear Ms Ho,
Our 13 crates of routers ordered by SHK Test Laboratories Ltd were involved in an accident during the transportation and sustained a serious damage. Therefore the delivery of routers to SHK will be postponed.
According to the original plan, 13 boxes of routers should be sent to SHK on this Tuesday morning. The shipments from USA headquarter arrived Hong Kong safely on last Sunday via Victory Transport as arranged. And then the goods were checked by technical personnel and kept in the local warehouse of our company, where the routers were waiting to be sent to SHK.
The goods were picked up by Golden Express Transport at 8 a.m.Tuesday and scheduled for arriving at SHK before noon. However, Mr Kinko Tanaka, the representative of SHK, called me on Tuesday afternoon saying that they had not received the goods. After checking, I found that the goods were involved in an accident on Tat Chee Road during transportation on Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. The driver was injured and most of the goods were damaged. Now the remaining goods are kept by Golden Express in their warehouse.
